Clyde Allen Sams, 71, husband of Linda Sue Sexton Sams for 50 years, died Sunday May 6, 2018 at the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY. A native of Carlisle, KY, he was the son of the late James Allen and Glada Mitchell Sams. He was a retired accountant, an avid reader and was a United States Army veteran where he proudly served during his tour in Vietnam. In addition to his wife he is survived by, two sons, Jeff (Shella) Sams, Mike (Angie) Sams; one daughter, Nikki (Mason) Laszlo; four grandchildren, Shelby (Kyle) Doose, Lucia Laszlo, Chiron Laszlo and Emily Paige Sams; special brother -in-law, Mike Sexton and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Emily Paige Sams. Funeral services will be private at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Mike Sexton Pallbearers will be Jeff Sams, Mike Sams, Mason Laszlo, Kyle Doose, Ben Toadvine and Matthew Sexton.
