Funeral mass for Sgt. David J. Lillash (retired), age 75 of Eastlake, will be 10:00 am, Friday, February 16, 2024, at St. Justin Martyr Parish, 35781 Stevens Blvd, Eastlake (Please Meet at Church). Family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment will be private.

David was born on December 7, 1948, in Cleveland to the late Peter P. and Irene C. (nee Kintz) Lillash and passed away on February 13, 2024.

David served in the US Army. He retired from the Cleveland Police Department as a Sargent serving in the Justice Center.

Dave was a gym enthusiast, he liked fishing, boating, and cooking, but loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed making wine and drinking it with friends. He will be missed by many.

David is the beloved husband of 51 years to Charlotte A. Lillash (nee DeBaltzo); loving father of Brian Lillash (Kari Nathanson) and Kristy Carcioppolo (Gino); cherished grandfather of Vito, Sophia, and Angelo Carcioppolo; devoted brother of Barbra Knaus (Robert), Thomas Lillash (Carol), and John Lillash (Mary).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dave’s memory to your charity of choice.
