Mary B. Huber, 96, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2016 at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria. Mary was born to Clyde and Jeanette (Mueller) Birkett on October 23, 1919 in Peoria, IL, She married Willard Huber on July 2, 1942 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death, as did her sister; Mrs. Harry (Ellen) Thiers of Peoria. She is survived by her sons; Peter B. Huber of Richmond, VA, Thomas W. Huber of Atlantic Beach, FL,; two grandsons, Ben Huber of Denver, Co and Birk Huber of Dublin Ca, and five great grandchildren. She attended Peoria Central and Francis Shimer, and graduated from Bradley University in 1941. With her husband, Will, she lived in Santa Barbara Ca., Lancaster Oh, and Red Wing, Mn before settling in Peoria. Mary was a librarian for Peoria District 150 schools for over 15 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the 1st Federated church, the Phi Beta Pi Sorority at Bradley University, and the Chapter FQ P.E.O.
