John Booker

John E. Booker, 61, of Peoria, passed away at 8:25 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2107 at Clary Funeral Home., 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria, with Pastor Jerry Butler officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded. John was born on March 10, 1956, in Charleston, MS, a son of Edmond and Ines (Davis) Booker. They preceded him death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jean Booker-Kuykendall. He is survived by his significant other, Christina Denny of Peoria; son, Corey (Angel Warr) Denny of Peoria; stepson, Matt (Jenny) Denny; grandsons, Decorey Denny, Montell Carlton, Montrey Carlton, Matt Denny,Jr. and Jayla Dennyof Peoria; siblings, Edmond Booker, Billy (Shirley) Booker and Nina Booker-Spraggs, all of Peoria; and a host of nieces and nephews.
