<p>Iva Lea Miller age 91 of Hampstead, Maryland passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster Maryland.</p><p><br></p><p>Born April 6, 1932 in Westminster Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Hazel Basler, and ex-wife of the late H. Richard Miller of Finksburg, Maryland.</p><p><br></p><p>Iva Lea enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is a graduate of Union Memorial Johnston School of Nursing class of 1973. Iva Lea was employed as a nurse at Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, Black and Decker Hampstead facility and Carroll Lutheran Village, Westminster. Iva Lea retired from Nursing in 1992.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are sister-in-law Louise Basler, sister Fay (Wayne) Long, sons Warren (Lois) Miller of Parkton and Wayne (Sallie) Miller of Finksburg, granddaughters Elizabeth (Michael) Paulov, Bridgette (Ross) Westholm, Heather (Stephen) Carey, Katie (Nikolai) Reitz and three great granddaughters Evelyn, Logan, and Sofia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Wilson Basler.</p><p><br></p><p>A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s (Leisters) Church Cemetery. Pastor Andy Carr will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church, 827 Leisters Church Road, Westminster, MD 21157 or St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1373 N. Main Street, Hampstead, MD 21074.</p>
