<p>Tina Corbett &nbsp;was born October 12, 1980, in Gilbert, South Carolina.&nbsp; &nbsp;After a courageous battle with cancer, she went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 43, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. </p><p>Tina attended Gilbert High School where she loved singing in the chorus and playing the flute. She was well liked by her teachers and friends. </p><p>The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Tina. She loved reading, drawing, and family gatherings. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities, and her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. </p><p>Tina is survived by her mother, Yvonne C. Carter of Lexington, SC; aunt, Ruby Corbett of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; Desmond Milligan of Charleston, SC, Ariel Corbett of Pelion, SC, Genesis Corbett of Charleston, SC, and Essence Milligan of Gilbert, SC; three loving granddaughters, Alaya, Kaili, and Kaicee; Mary Ann (Oumar) Mbaye of Lexington, SC, Chasity (Marcus) Carter-Jones of Kannapolis, NC, Alicia (Demone) Carter of Lexington, SC, Alphonzo Carter of Gilbert, SC, Christopher (Rose Marie) Corbett of Gilbert, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many family members and friends that will miss her dearly. </p>

Tina Corbett  was born October 12, 1980, in Gilbert, South Carolina.   After a courageous battle with cancer, she went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 43, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
