Lois A. Troutman, 72, of McAlisterville, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at her residence.

Born on July 13, 1951 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she is a daughter of the late Paul R. “Dick” and Thelma I. (Leister) Fogleman.

She was married for over 26 years to Kenneth E. Troutman who preceded her in death on May 23, 2001.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Fogleman; brother in law, Jim Frymoyer; sisters in law, Cathy Troutman and Jane Conrad and her husband Steve; nephews, Andrew Haines and his wife Billie, Timothy Haines and his wife Monica, Michael Troutman and his wife Taryn, Brett Troutman and his wife Amber and children Gracen, Gavin, Katherine, Camille, Lucy, and Lincoln Haines, and Aaron, Brock, Taelyn, and Barrett Troutman.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annette Frymoyer; her father and mother in law, Elmer and Pauline Troutman; and brother in law, Lynn Troutman.

Mrs. Troutman had attended Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in McAlisterville and St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Millersburg.

Lois loved music, having participated in bands and choruses in high school and various church choirs and as a soprano soloist. She loved writing of all kinds, especially poetry, and various websites. Along with her husband, she loved to travel and was an avid Penn State football fan.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with the Rev. Michael Edwards officiating. Interment will be private at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax.

A visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial services at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the funeral home.
