Bruce G. Wade

Bruce G. Wade, age 70, of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, formerly of Lynn, died Wednesday surrounded by his family, in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the husband of Mary L. (Tester) Wade, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Marion (Peabody) DeRosier and Francis Gus DeRosier. He was employed by Polaroid Corporation for 25-years as a model maker in research & development, until his retirement 15 years ago. Before moving to Florida 8 years ago, he and his wife traveled the U.S. and abroad, spending summers with family at Lake Dunmore in VT. He enjoyed retirement and the pursuit of adventure. Bruce loved the outdoors; camping, walking and hiking; and also loved to play pickle ball and shuffleboard. He enjoyed coaching for Lynn Shore Little League. Bruces greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children; Bruce G. Wade, Jr. of Nahant, Wendy Waldrip and her husband Glenn of VT, and Mark Wade of Salem; three grandchildren; Glenn Waldrip, Jr. of VT, Emily Poro and her husband Richard of VT, and Kyle Wade of Lynn; as well as three brothers, three sisters, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11AM in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 5-8PM, and on Tuesday from 10AM-11AM
