Cumberland – Agnes B. “Aggie” Schultz, 94, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at UPMC – WM.

Born October 7, 1929, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Ruppenkamp) Schultz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Louise Spicer, Josephine and James Schultz, Angela Cogan and Eileen Bishop; brother-in-law, Raymond Hershberger.

Aggie was a 1949 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company where she was employed as an office administrator.

She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Mountains Parish. At the church, she was a member of the Church Sodality and Martha’s Group.

Agnes enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was very involved with the lives of her nieces and nephews.

Agnes is survived by her sister, Grace Hershberger; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Allegany Health Nursing and Rehab for the compassionate care that Aggie received during her stay.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 4 to 7pm. A Christian Wake service will be held at 7pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11am.

Interment will be in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Aggie’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (, or to Our Lady of the Mountains Parish, 300 E Oldtown Rd, Ste 2, Cumberland, MD 21502.
