Randall Vincent Schexnayder, a faithful servant of God, devoted family man, and esteemed member of the pharmaceutical community, departed from this life on January 30, 2024, at the age of 66 in Gretna, Louisiana. Born to the late John "JB" and Dolores Joel Schexnayder on April 26, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was a beacon of knowledge and kindness to all who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication as embodied by his cherished family: his loving wife of many years, Eva D Schexnayder; his children, Christopher R Schexnayder and Jessica N Schexnayder-Bierria; his esteemed daughters-in-law Genee Bailey Schexnayder and Onya M Schexnayder-Bierria; his adored grandchildren, Chase Randal and Charli Rose Schexnayder; and his treasured grandpups, King and Dom. Randall's memory will also be honored by his siblings Carol Ann Schexnayder, Acquanette (Patrick) Mitchell, Westley Schexnayder, Ricardo Schexnayder, and Laphalle (Monica) Schexnayder.

He is preceded in his journey to the Lord by his parents and siblings Suzette Schexnayder, Yahya (John) Muhammed, Dale Schexnayder, and Theodore Schexnayder.

A resident of Vacherie, Louisiana and proud graduate of St James High School, Randall furthered his education at Xavier University of Louisiana, attaining a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1980. In pursuit of further knowledge, Randall attained his Master of Science in Public Health from Tulane University of Public Health in 1983. His dedication to educating future pharmacists began in 1984 and culminated in a venerated 38-year tenure at Xavier University College of Pharmacy, retiring as the Assistant Dean for Professionalism. His achievements included membership in Kappa Psi, SAPhA (now ASP), and SNPhA, and he served with distinction as the president of the Pharmacy Student Association (PSA), earning the Upjohn Achievement Award.

A parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Randall's faith was as unwavering as his commitment to his community.

Randall ts hobbies, including photography and genealogy, allowed him to capture the essence of family lineage and the beauty of the world around him, creating a tapestry of memories that will continue to enrich his family's lives.

The family invites those who were touched by Randall’s Life to join in Commemorating his Journey on Friday, February 16, 2024, 4:00PM-6:00PM, at St. Katherine Drexel Chapel (Xavier University of LA), 3932 Pine St, NOLA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, 10:00AM, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held from 8:00AM until the hour of service. Interment St. Phillip Cemetery, Vacherie, LA.

Randall Vincent Schexnayder's presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to guide and inspire. May he find eternal rest and peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.
