Clifford L. "Butch" Lauver

<p>Clifford L. “Butch” Lauver, age 80, of Council Bluffs, passed away February 11, 2024 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Butch was born February 22, 1943 in Council Bluffs to Leslie E. Lauver and Laura Colton. He graduated from Lewis Central High School in 1962 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Butch married Judith York on October 22, 1972. He was a truck driver for Briggs Trucking from 1968-1982 and then sold cars for McIntyre Oldsmobile Cadillac and for Rhoden Auto Center retiring in 2004. Butch and Judy moved to West Pueblo, Colorado in 2006 returning to Council Bluffs in 2020.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Butch is preceded in death by his father, Leslie Lauver; mother, Laura Potter and grandparents, Pearlie and Wilma Lauver.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife, Judy Lauver; sons, John Pressgrove and Kayla, Rod Pressgrove and Connie Radcliff; daughter, Jennifer Schultz and Kevin Schultz; step-mother, Bernice Lauver; grandsons, Korey Pressgrove, Jacob Schultz, and Kellan Riley; brother, Steven Lauver and wife Connie; sister, Kathy James and husband Marvin; brother, Bruce Lauver and Marcy Lauver; sister, Jane Procopio and Nick; sisters, Connie Wilson, Jeanne Rehfeldt and Pam Wilson; brothers, John Wilson and Benny Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins and special cousin, Sandy Juul.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial service, Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Military rites will be tendered by the Kanesville Honor Guard. A lunch will follow at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Memorial contributions are suggested to Humane Pet Services, 19287 Conifer Lane, CB IA 51503.</p>
