<p>Cumberland, MD – Kimberly Kay McDonald, 54, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at UPMC Western Maryland.</p><p><br></p><p>Born September 3, 1969, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of the late Ronald Eugene Kidwell and Lilly Virginia (Hayden) Kidwell. She was also preceded in death by her sister: Brenda Sue Kidwell-Thomas; and her son-in-law: Tylor Logsdon.</p><p><br></p><p>A homemaker, Kimberly graduated from Fort High High School in 1987, loved being home and taking care of her kids and grandkids, and spending time with her family. She loved watching and cheering for the Baltimore Ravens.</p><p><br></p><p>Kimberly is survived by her loving husband of 37 years: Steven McDonald; her daughters: Lisa Logsdon, and Amanda McDonald; her son: Steven McDonald; her grandchildren: Christopher Logsdon, Jaydon McDonald, Tylor Logsdon, Jr., Carl Logsdon, and Audrey McDonald; as well as Simon Lewis and wife, Robin who are like family; her special nephews whom she helped raise: Ronnie Kidwell and fiancée Wanda, and Tylor, Olivia, and Bentley Kidwell; and David Thomas; her aunts: Eula (Hayden) Patton, and Ann (Hayden) Hearn; her 7 loving brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews; and her fur babies who she loved dearly.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, ( on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M., with Chaplain Paul Demers officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment will be in Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery at Rocky Gap.</p><p><br></p><p>The pallbearers will be: Steven McDonald, Chris McDonald Logsdon, Ronnie Kidwell, David Thomas, David Reese, and Zach Reese; as well as the honorary pallbearers: Eric Hayhurst, and Timmy Robey.</p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of life will be held at The Good Fellowship Club on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 3:00 P.M.</p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ER, ICU, and High Level Staff, as well as Dr. Kim, Dr. Jennifer Shah, Dr. Koor, and Nurse Bailey for all the care and compassion given.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., to assist with expenses.</p><p><br></p>
