Christopher Boylan Obituary

Christopher Boylan was born on November 17, 1972, in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of ten children born from the union of Kenneth Boylan and Eleanor (Snapp) Boylan. He gained an education through Monroe Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1991.

Christopher met the love of his life, Jeanette Kallenberg and together the couple were blessed with four children. To provide for his family, he worked as a chef for various restaurants.

Christopher truly enjoyed the time he shared with his children and family, spending many days dropping a line in the waters of Lake Erie in Bolles Harbor. His passion for video games, especially Galaga, Shen Mu, and Mario, brought him many hours of fun and entertainment. Although he was convinced that he might never watch anime, he discovered an interest like Dragon Ball, by spending time with loved ones.

His passion for cooking was often shared with those he cared about. He was devoted to his grandchildren, and they felt his love in whatever he did. His legacy will live on in the memories of those he leaves behind.

Christopher Boylan, age 51, of Monroe, passed away at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital at 11:58pm, on Thursday; February 1, 2024. His passing was preceded by his parents; a grandfather; and a sister: Victoria.

To cherish his memory, Christopher leaves his wife: Jeanette Boylan; four children: Alek Boylan, Victoria Boylan, McCayla Boylan, and Madisen Boylan; four grandchildren: Paytlen, Clover, Miles, and Mila; eight siblings: David Boylan, Julie (Bill) Strimpel, Matthew Boylan, Kelly (David) Stiles, Renee (Jim) Morris, Craig (Rose) Boylan, Annie Boylan, and Beth (Mark) McLaughlin.

His care has been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185. Cremation will take place through the on-site crematory, Covenant Cremation of Erie, Michigan.
