Clinton Joseph Fleury was born on November 5, 1941, the fifth of six children born to the late Martinel, Sr. and Mabel Prevost Fleury. He was married to the late Regina Perkins. Mr. Fleury is the father of Terence and Amanda; brother of Andrea Carter, Reginald and Carlos (Bobbie). Godfather of Darlene Carter, Austen Dailet and Leonard Fleury, Jr. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Clinton is also preceded in death by siblings, Honora Curry and Martinel, Jr. Clinton attended St. Peter Claver Elementary School and graduated from St. Augustine High School with the class of 1961. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and worked 38 years in the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Labor Union Branch 124, for over 50 years. Clinton was loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We will treasure loving memories of him, that will forever hold deep in our hearts. A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Clinton Joseph Fleury was held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, February 9, 2024.
