Marilyn Margaret Calvert Obituary
Marilyn Margaret Calvert (née Gauthier) was born January 7, 1941, in Moberly Lake, BC. She was taken to the residential school in Grouard, Alberta at the age of five. She studied there until 16, when she attended Notre Dame in Dawson Creek, BC. After High School, she attended University in Montreal, before returning west to BC. There she met her lifelong friend, Karen Holtslander. They have remained friends all these years and for the last 25 years have shared a condo they bought together. Karen has faithfully looked after Marilyn for the last four years in their home, giving 24-hour care. Marilyn passed peacefully on January 20th, 2024, at the age of 83. Marilyn will be lovingly missed by her children, Carmen, and Jason, as well as her many grandchildren.
