Guests are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m., followed by 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, January 25th, 2024, at Carnes Funeral Home – Texas City, 3100 Gulf Freeway Texas City, Texas 77573. Interment to follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

Tandra Singleton, 55 years old, passed away on January 14th, 2024 at HCA Hospital Pearland. She was the widow of Alfred Singleton. They shared five plus years of marriage together, marrying on February 14th 2005.

Born in Galveston, Texas and raised in Hitchcock, Texas. She was the daughter of Sandra Robertson and Francis Joseph Charles, Sr. She attended Hitchcock High School and graduated as Salutatorian, Texas Women’s College in Denton, and Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law and ultimately graduated with her Juris Doctorate.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly remembered for her sense of humor, fashion prowess, and extraordinary intelligence.

She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Singleton and her mother, Sandra Robertson.

She is survived by her children, Kathy and Kayla Singleton and her siblings, Francis Joseph Charles, Jr., Kristen Robertson, and Daniel Routt.

Funeral Services will be held on January 25th 2024 at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Fwy, Texas City, Texas, 77591 with Interment at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, 10708 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, Texas, 77573. The viewing and visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to the time of the service.

Special thanks to her family members and friends who have come together in such a time of need to uplift her children, bringing solace to them, and strength to survive this untimely and unforeseen life event.
