In 2002 the new Pancake House that he designed and built was completed. He and Bonnie continued to generously serve their customers, community and friends for two more decades. They enjoyed bringing the community together by hosting popular events like the Pumpkin Lighting Festival, providing spectacular flower displays throughout the summer, and festive lights for the Christmas season and beyond.
Over the years George was involved in many community projects including spearheading the construction of the snowmobile club grooming shed at the Francis Wallace parking lot.
George loved McCall and enjoyed visiting with all his friends and customers, attending ice rink events, and snowmobiling with his son-in-law and friends. He was selfless in volunteering his time to the community and anyone in need.
