DUMONTEL, Edith Louise (nee Gilbertson) 1920 2016. Edith passed away Monday August 22, 2016, 12 days before her 96th Birthday. She was predeceased by husband Henry, parents Joseph and Anna Gilbertson, sister Arlene and sister Alice, brother Arnold and a brother in infancy. Also predeceased by daughter Janet, son-in-law Norman, and daughter-in-law Sue. She is survived by sons; Alan and Rodney (Debra), grandchildren Craig (Tammy), Nichole (Jeff), Chantelle (Doug), Lindsay (Corey), as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Edith taught school in various schools for 28 years. She volunteered her time on various committees in Frontier, notably as president of the Frontier Seniors Centre, as well as helping out at the Museum. She was always willing to donate baking for bake tables at various events, especially supplying her famous rosettes. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. A celebration of Ediths life was held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Lutheran Church in Frontier with Pastor Leon Gilbertson officiating. The pianist was Magna Norheim and Craig Dumontel provided special music. The Eulogy was presented by Chantelle Kee and Lindsay Niedzielski had a special reading. Interment took place at Frontier Municipal Cemetery. Binkleys Funeral Service of Shaunavon (www.Binkleys.com) was in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers were Corey Niedzielski, Doug Kee, Craig Dumontel, Joel Christensen, Jeff Kessel and Glenn Dumontel.
