Martha Payne Toney, 84 of Racine died December 15, 2023 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Racine.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years: Phillip Wayne Toney, parents: Thomas Roscoe and Hester Frye Payne, brothers: Sonny, Bill and Tom Payne and sisters: Ilene Garrett, Isabelle Payne Lyttle, Helen Payne and Gladys Payne Smith.
Surviving are her companion of 17 years: Clarence “Jiggs” Corder of Hernshaw, sister: Sherry Elliott and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday December 20, 2023 at Marmet Cemetery, Marmet, WV with Kermit Hudson officiating. There will be no visitation. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, is in charge of arrangements.
