Mina was born on September 20, 1949 to parents Pardasie Sookdeo and Lakho Pardasie at the family home in Chaguanas Trinidad & Tobago. Our dear beloved Mina Ranee, 74, of Margate, FL departed from us on November 22, 2023. Mina was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Doodnath Pardasie, Lutchmidath Pardasie, and Suruj Sookdeo; and her beloved husband, Birbal "Balo" Ranee. She is survived by her siblings, Parbatee Lackraj, Lutchmin Maharaj, Manichan Pardasie, Kanhai Sookdeo, Ramdularie Ramlal and Shanti Ramlogan. She got married to Balo Ranee on January 31, 1984. She attended the Montrose Vedic Elementary School followed by the Hacket Commercial School in her teenage years. Mina pursued her career in cosmetology and eventually opened and operated her own beauty salon in Central Trinidad. She earned her high school diploma in NY after she migrated to the United States in 1988 and worked along with her husband for the Heilweil and the renowned Millstein family in New York City.
