Janet was born August 29, 1950 in Bronx, NY; the oldest child of Fay and Lenny Vento. She spent her childhood living in little Italy in the Bronx close to all of her family and friends. She began working as a hairdresser in her teens and continued this passion through adulthood. In 1976 she married George Centrella. They had 2 children, Vicki and Joseph. In 1989, Janet made the move to Florida to start a new life. She loved the warm weather and sunshine and spent most of her free time in her pool or at the beach. She made many lasting friendships in South Florida. In her free time, Janet was often roaming the aisles of a department store or strolling the flea market, shopping, buying jewelry and perfumes or anything that smelled good. She always made sure to do her hair and makeup before leaving the house. With a passion for music, she loved to dance; she spent a lot time with family and friends just hanging out having cake and coffee. In 2000, she married Robert Bouquio who took care of her in her later years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, niece and friend. Survived by her daughter, Vicki; grandchildren, Alex and Amy; sister, Cathy and brother in law Lowell; brother, Lenny and sister in law Julie; and nieces and nephews, Robert, Daniel, Lenny and Lisa.
