Julia Milliser of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed this life on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Wagoner Care Center while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21, 1933 in Sardis, Oklahoma to her parents John Wesley Hunsucker and Grace M. (Moreland) Hunsucker . Julia completed her early childhood education and later met the love of her life Robert while she was living with her parents in the Kiamichi Mountains. After Robert returned home from the service they were united in marriage on July 14, 1952 in Bentonville, Arkansas and were blessed to share over sixty two years in marriage before her passing. A few of Juliaﾒs hobbies included canning, cooking, gardening and fishing. In her younger years she enjoyed going hunting with her husband and family and was always good at shooting dead on. Preceding her in death were her parents John and Grace Hunsucker. Left to carry on her legacy is her husband Robert of the home. One son, John Robert and his wife Sunny of Wagoner, Oklahoma, one daughter Carolyn Shepard and her husband Randy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. One brother John Hunsucker of Burden, Kansas, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with other dear friends from the Wagoner Care Center and North Tulsa. Funeral service for Julia was held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sardis Cemetery with Chaplain Roger Miller officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
