EDMON EUGENE HOLLIE Edmon E. Hollie of Wagoner, Oklahoma passed this life on Monday, July 21, 2014 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, at the age of 86. He was born in McCurtain, Oklahoma on December 29, 1927 to Lester Hollie and Clara (Cleveland) Hollie. Edmon served during WWII in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947. On April 4, 1947 Edmon married "Jerry" Hollie, sharing sixty-six years, before her death in February this year. He was also preceded by his parents, one brother Wendell Hollie and three sisters, Freda Petzolt, Theresa Lucas and Fleta Jo Hunsucker. In the 1950''''s Edmon served as Sheriff for Haskell County. Edmon began his work for the Lord in ministry in 1967, where he served several church''''s in Oklahoma, including the Hillcrest Free Will Baptist, where he was currently a member. After he retired in 1997, he worked for Shelton''''s Grocery in Stigler in the produce department. Edmon enjoyed gardening and staying busy. He loved his church and his church family. He was such a loving father and Papa Hollie to his family and he loved his visits from Alivia, he will truly be missed by all. He is survived by his son Edmon Hollie Jr. and his wife Rhonda of Yale, Oklahoma and four daughters, Donna Reguilon of Livermore, CA, Carol Brown and her husband Larry of Maramec, OK, Susan Waller and her husband Kenneth of Henderson, NV and Sherry Wagoner and her husband Anthony of Wagoner, one sister Velva June Hunsucker of Sacramento, CA. Eight grandchildren, Jeramy, Chris, Brad, Jeff, Chad, Ryan, Jaci and Jered, ten great-grandchildren, John Ryan, Joseph, Sean, Kane, Braven, Alivia, Michael, Drae, Gabe and Alex, , two great-great grandchildren Carter and Lyla, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Hillcrest Free Will Baptist Church in Wagoner with Pastor Francis Berka.
