Suzybelle Hanson-Hynes Obituary

Suzy joined us as a kitten completing our family for nearly 18 years. We decided to get a ragdoll cat because we had heard they were hypoallergenic and floppy – that they loved to be carried and cuddled. Suzy turned her cute, wee nose on all of this nonsense.

She was irascible, highly independent, ever-curious, often demanding and quite irresistible. Her confidence and curiosity propelled her into many engaging studies: the smell of a guest’s shoes; the necessity of jumping into an open drawer. Closed doors hurt her feelings and she would protest quite vocally. Though very gentle and loving, she made it clear that she didn’t like being poked and prodded by the vet. She was a beautiful furball, friendly to everyone and loved by so many. She strutted happily through life with her fluffy tail upright - most often curled at the end.

Our Suzy was an honest girl, with true dignity and integrity. She was true to herself. We loved her deeply, as she loved us. Peace to you, sweet Suzybelle. We miss you so much.
