Beulah M. Suarez
<p>Beulah M. Suarez, 96, of Rocky River and formerly of Canton, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023. She was born July 3, 1927 in Lisbon, Ohio, to parents Fred and Alice (nee Comfort) Wolfli.</p><p>Beulah Wolfli was raised in Louisville, Ohio, in the home of an aunt following the early death of both her parents. Following high school graduation she worked for a couple years, and during that time Beulah met Lou Suarez. They married on April 15, 1950 and soon settled in Canton, where Beulah went about the work of making a home for her growing family. She was a homemaker, skillful at cooking, baking, and gardening, until her sons were in high school. Beulah then became a receptionist at the Aultman Hospital School of Nursing, serving the staff and students for many years.</p><p>Beulah enjoyed being active and kept busy with exercise and walking, along with spending time with friends and family. She was a compassionate and very loyal woman who found joy in serving others and caring for them as well. Beulah was delighted to spend time with the younger generations of her family, babysitting her great-nieces and doting on her grandchildren as often as she could.</p><p>Beulah is survived by her loving sons Louis "Lou" Suarez (Debby) and David Suarez (Carolyn); beloved grandchildren Manny Suarez (Amanda), Amber Taylor (Phil), and Angela Reneau (Jason); four cherished great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lou Suarez; her parents Fred and Alice Wolfli; and her brothers Alfred "Butch" and Edward Wolfli.</p><p>Memorial contributions in Beulah's honor are suggested to Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio, 5510 Baumhart Rd, Lorain, OH 44053 or Avon Lake United Church Christ, 32801 Electric Blvd, Avon Lake, OH 44012.</p><p>Funeral service will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, 7920 Frank Road NW, Canton, 44720.
