A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Vivian Pauline Brown Tumminello will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Colfax with Reverend Paul M. LaPalme officiating, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville. Burial will follow in Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be observed at the Hixson Brothers, Pineville on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and continue on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until shortly before the service. Pallbearers honored to serve are Terry Brown, Mike Brown, Greg Ellington, Jasen Davis, Cole Tumminello and Logan DuBois. Vivian Pauline Brown Tumminello, 89, of Pineville, passed from this life on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Alonzo Brown; siblings, Aron Brown, Sybil Moore, Jewel Hodnett, Ralph Brown, Louise Castor and Melba Salonek. She is survived by her son, DArmon E. Tumminello, Jr. and wife, Pamela; daughter, Pamela Tumminello Hoover and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Donna DuBois, Melissa Godwin, Michelle Tumminello and Adrian Tumminello; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Daniel Brown; sisters, Audrey Brown Ellington, Irma Brown Henry, Nelda Brown Engleheart and Mable Foster and a host of other family members and friends.
