Rose A. Trickle, 75, of Poplar Grove, passed away in her home on December 16, 2021, surrounded by her family. Rose was born on January 16, 1946, in Palermo, Sicily; daughter of Jack DeMay and Mary Fardella. She married Vern J. Trickle on February 19, 1966, in McHenry, IL. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Rose. She enjoyed quiet evenings on the lake with her husband, a glass of wine and a good book. She would have movie date nights with her husband, shopping trips with her daughters, and vacations with friends. Her smile and love for her children, and grandchildren was evident every moment she was with them, and she loved when their home was filled with kids. She was the grandmother that always made time for sporting and school events. Rose was the embodiment of unconditional love and kindness. Rose is survived by her loving husband Vern; her daughters Julie Harrison and Sherry (Westley) Ramos; grandchildren Vanessa and Vincent Brown, and Jacob Harrison; and her siblings Mary Jo (Tony) Olszewski and John (Barb) Fardella. She is predeceased by her parents. There will be a Celebration of Life in the summer of 2022. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 712 Windsor Rd., Loves Park. www.statelinecremations.com
