Billy Thomas Colley

Billy “Tom” Colley of La Pine, Oregon died of causes related to Parkinson’s disease at the age of 84 years.

Tom was born September 18, 1939, in Clintwood Virginia to Cecil Colley and Dolly Colley (Nee Wheatley). He was the oldest of 8 children.

Tom retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1980 after 23 years of service and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2001. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, reading, and Oregon history.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife Ellen and daughter Joan.

Survivors include 3 sons Tommy, Brian, and Curtis; and a daughter Amy. Tom had 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. As well as brothers, sisters nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held on Nov. 3 at 12:00 pm in La Pine, Oregon American Legion Post 45.
