Bonnie Seeley

Bonnie (Helen) Seeley passed away peacefully on February 22, 2018 at the age of 91. She and her late husband, Mike Seeley, owned Seeley Construction Company. She was active in the Catskill Elks Club and presided over the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also president of the Town of Catskill Republican Club. Additionally, she was the secretary to Assemblyman, Larry Lane. Bonnie was known for organizing and managing the once very popular Elks teen dances. She wrote colorful and amusing local news articles for The Catskill Daily Mail. She was predeceased by her son, Russell Hiatt, and her husband, Mike Seeley. Bonnie is survived by her son, Rick Hiatt, of Omaha, daughters, Linda Hiatt Waldschmidt, of Catskill, Kathy Hiatt Lundy, of Florida, and, Julie Seeley Stough, of Texas and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and brother-in-law, Art Seeley. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 28,from 5 PM to 7 PM at Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home, 139 Jeferson Hgts, Catskill. When I lived in NY, I worked many an event with Bonnie at the Elks Lodge. She was a very strong and organized person.
