Helen Felton Wimer, 94, of Versailles, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Daisy Hill Senior Living in Versailles, Kentucky, with her two daughters, Linda and Bonnie by her side. She was born on March 17, 1923 in Canaan, West Virginia. Helen was a member of Rockland United Methodist Church located in Belpre, Ohio. In addition to her husbands, Hoy K. Felton and Edward J. Wimer, she was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Virgil and Eva Snyder Davis, her son, James ‘’Rick” Felton, eight siblings, Loran Davis, Londes Davis, Thomas Davis, Bernice Sorbello, Marie Glady, Florabelle Delaney, Pauline Claypool and Zula Davis (infant). She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Felton Roscoe(Mike) of Versailles, Bonnie Sue Felton McGlumphy(Jim) of West Virginia, eight grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at Daisy Hill Senior Living for the residents, at 6:30 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Helen’s name to The American Heart Association, Hospice of the Bluegrass, or Daisy Hill Senior Living.
