"Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother" Waynesville, Jean Coralyn Fisher, 79, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at CarePartners Solace Center. Jean was born in Underwood, Minnesota, and a former resident of Florida prior to moving to Haywood County in 2010. She was the daughter of Theone Hansen Pederson and the late Clifford Pederson. Jean was a retired manager for LeRoy Jewelry and a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald Fisher; her sons, Richard Fisher and wife, Kathy of Winterville, North Carolina, Robert Fisher of Orlando, Florida and Rodger Fisher and his wife, Teresa, of Clayton, North Carolina; a brother, Thomas Pederson and his wife, Denise, of St. Petersburg, Florida; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Shady Grove Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Tout officiating.
