Harold "BOB" Rusk Obituary

Harold Robert Rusk, 77 passed into the presence of Jesus Christ on the evening of Sunday, February 18, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gloria Bruce Rusk; his two sons, James Harold Rusk, wife Melissia Rusk, and William Lynn Callaway, wife Damaris Callaway; his wonderful sister-in-law, Diane Bruce Knight Wallace, husband David his grandchildren, Kourtni Callaway Gandee, husband Dustin Gandee, and Thomas-Jay Rusk; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Cash, and Lainey; his cousins, Donna Garsteck, husband John, Cathy Vacha, and Susie Tomask; his very dear, special family friend, Laverna Clements, husband Bobby Clements (deceased); his very special church family, precious Aunt Betty Alexander, Rev. Frank Bruce, wife Loretta, Rev. Chad Crawford and family, as well as the wonderful choir. The only son of Harold Stewart Rusk and Lettie Fugate Rusk, Harold Rusk went on to serve in the United States Air Force after graduating from New Concord High School in Ohio. He took lessons and became a certified instructor for small planes. In 1970, Mr. Rusk became a part of the Georgia Power family. After meeting his future wife Gloria, the couple married and spent the next 44 years together. He made many loyal and caring friends though out his lifetime. After being blessed with a wonderfully fruitful life, his heavenly father called him home on February 18, 2018. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 22 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11AM on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. Burial will be at Eatonton Memorial Gardens after the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Harvest Baptist Church Building Fund, Eatonton, GA
