Charmaine Wade Lancaster, age 63 of Danville passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Gretna Health Care and Rehab. She was born August 21, 1954 in Illinois to the late John Henry Wade and the late Genevieve Helferink Wade Pateos. Charmaine was married to the late Larry Lancaster. She was an active member of Family of Faith United Methodist Church in Akron, OH, she split her time between Danville and Akron. Mrs. Lancaster is survived by two daughters, Shannon Davis and husband Jason of Dry Fork, VA and Stephanie Cleveland and husband Joseph of Aiken, SC; two sons, Nathaniel Lancaster and wife Xandi and Michael Lancaster all of Danville; a sister, Karen Pateos; a brother, Kevin Pateos and five grandchildren, Tyler Davis, Aidan, Bailey, Caylee and Joseph Cleveland. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Sohnny, and a brother Shane Wade. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Inc., West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA. The family will receive friends 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018 prior to the service at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Pittsylvania Pet Center, 11880 Highway 29, Chatham, VA 24531.
