Sherry Rhodes, age 64 of Hwy. 11 Barbourville, Ky., passed away Wednesday February 7, 2018 at her home. She was born January 19, 1954 in Whitley County, Ky. To the late Bascom and Virginia Mae Kinder Taylor. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Clifford Taylor. She is survived by her husband Larry Rhodes of Barbourville, Ky., 1 daughter; Tammy Warren (Greg) of Barbourville, Ky., 1 son; Christopher Glenn Vanover of Middlesboro, Ky., 2 grandchildren; Lindsey Welliver and Taylin Warren, 1 sister; Virginia Hayes (Jerry) of Woodbine, Ky., 1 brother; Walter Dearl Taylor (Sheila) of Rockholds, Ky., several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday February 10, 2018 at Mossy Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Parks officiating. Interment will be in the Rhodes Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm Friday February 9, 2018 at the funeral home and 12 Noon until funeral hour Saturday February 10, 2018 at the Mossy Gap Baptist Church.
