Norman Fulton Gross was born in ponchatoula Louisiana & at the age of 4 moved to Casper Wyoming and from there to Seattle wa where he met his best friend who later became his wife of 46 years ( Priscilla Anne gross ) & from that union two children Norma Jean gross -Gibson & Eric Gross. The four of them moved to Bremerton wa were they built a new extended family and many friends.
Norman had a love for his family like no other & even if a pinch or a inch he felt as if he was the boss of each and every one of us and owned that title ‘ boss ‘ until his final breath he continued to show us all how much he loved us.
The love for his car (s) we’re unexplainable .... trying to keep his car dry in the rain , keep snow off of it in the snow , he even used a toothbrush to clean his white walls.
Norman had a passion for Pepsi like no other and if you try to bring him a coke you wouldn’t get a smile you would get just the opposite with a few choice words.... not to mention it’s pop not soda!
Along with that just call him Mr ice cream man with sweets on the side. The night before his final day his brother and he sat and ate ice cream bars together under a blanket.
Partying dancing singing - Gross tradition for family gatherings with stern instruction from norman saying dance just dance .... he loved to see us dance & with excitement he would loudly say “ cha cha cha “ which was confirmation that we were doing something right
