Passed away peacefully on February 3rd at age 65 after an extensive battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Pribek). Cherished father of Cecelia and John. Loving brother of Geralyn (Roger) Slack. Further survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Humphrey Jeremiah “Jerry” and Alyce. Joe was a graduate of Edgewood High School, UW-Madison and Cardinal Stritch University. He proudly served in the Wisconsin Air National Guard. As a teacher, coach and principal, Joe enriched many lives. A visitation will be held on Friday February 9th at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W Forest Home Ave, Hales Corners, WI 53130, from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. followed by a funeral mass at 5 p.m. A committal service will be held on Saturday February 10th at Roselawn Memorial Park Chapel, 401 Femrite Dr, Monona, WI 53716 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Catalyst Foundation, 11918 SE Division Street #1022 Portland, OR 97266.
