Betty Jeannine Goode Obituary

A funeral service honoring and remembering the life of Jeannine B. Goode will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 2PM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel. Jeannine was born October 26, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama to Jewell (Cowley) Miller and Aubrey Tidwell. She attended Woodlawn High School, and a few years after graduation she enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve our country. Jeannine lived all over the country before coming to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1974. In the 1950's she saw Elvis Presley at the Louisiana Hayride and ever since then she has been a big fan. Jeannine also enjoyed to shop, but her main focus in her life was her children and grandchildren. She was also dedicated to the many dogs and cats that came into our family as strays. She was a strong willed woman that was also outgoing, kind and generous. Jeannine had a great sense of humor and an unconditionally loving soul. She lived to serve her family and love others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell (Cowley) Miller and Aubrey Tidwell, and brother, Earnest Tidwell. Survivors include her daughter, Kay McCarthy and her husband, Dave; sons, Vince Goode, Gary Goode and his wife, Kristin; nine grandchildren, Kristie Ryan, Matt Goode, Brandon McCarthy, Amy Soap, Emily McCarthy, Cara McCarthy, Ryan McCarthy, Caroline Goode and Cassidy Goode. She also leaves five great-grandchildren, Callen, Colton, Kylie, Carson and Emma. The family would like to express their appreciation to the team from St. Francis Hospice. Without their help and dedicated care, we would not have been able to care for her at home surrounded by her loved ones. Interment will take place following the service, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jeannine B. Goode to the National Osteoporosis Foundation. Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt's Funeral Service - Tulsa. Family and friends may send memories and condolences to the family, online at www.schaudtfuneralservice.com.
