Harold F. Kuerth, age 96, passed away Friday evening, April 15, 2016 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The son of Bernhardt and Mable (Taylor) Kuerth, born on December 10, 1919, Muskegon, Ml. On March 7, 1942, in Benzonia, Ml, he married Wanda Belle O’Brien and together they raised 6 children. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather, Harold found great joy in his family and his membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Shortly after marriage to his beloved sweetheart and wife, Wanie; he joined the Army Air Corp and served his WW l l tour with distinction and honor. After a lifetime of work in construction, roofing; loving and caring for his family and assisting in the building up and support in all ways of the gospel of Jesus Christ; he also enjoyed fishing, hunting in Benzie and Leelanau County in northern Michigan, crafting and working in his wood shop, cribbage, gardening, and he grew beautiful roses. He is survived by his children, Cheryl and Cal Barnum, Shelly and Joe Brown, Max and Pam Kuerth, Mark and Lynn Kuerth, Katie and Jon Town, Joe and Diana Kuerth, and his grandchildren, Shannon Nash, Amy Heeney, Guy Barnum, Calvin Barnum ll, Annette Brown, Julie Hoffman, Kim Wohlt, Brian Kuerth, Jason Kuerth, Michelle Watts, Angel Stinson, Devin Kuerth, Jerrod Kuerth, Matthew Kuerth, Aaron Kuerth, Jesse Blackford, Josh Blackford, Ben Blackford, Joseph Kuerth, Elizabeth Carter, Michael Kuerth, Sarah Jane Riding, Jonathan Kuerth, Emily Kuerth, 39 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, his twin sister Helen Norton, and sister-in-law Melva Kuerth. Memorial service, May 7, 2016, 1 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1725 W. Giles Rd., North Muskegon, Ml, with luncheon following. Private family graveside service.
