<p>Kathleen F. McCune (nee Ayers), 82, of Festus, Missouri, passed away peacefully, Monday, September 18, 2023 in Festus, MO. </p><p><br></p><p>She was born June 30, 1941 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of the late Herbert B. and Katherine K. Ayers (nee Kienzle).</p><p><br></p><p>Kathleen worked as a medical transcriptionist for many years before retirement. She enjoyed volunteering for Mercy Hospice and loved spending time with her beloved family.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a member of the Selma American Baptist Church .</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are husband of 64 years, William W. McCune of Festus, MO, sons, Keith (Laura) McCune of Barnhart, MO, Kevin (Kelly) McCune of Mountain Home, AR, and Chris (Amy) McCune of Johnstown, CO, daughter, Jana Kelley of DeSoto, MO, grandchildren, Linda McCune, Jeffrey McCune, Matthew (Stephanie) McCune, Benjamin (Kaylee) McCune, Melissa (Derrik) Gibson, Aaron Phipps, Emma McCune and Katherine McCune, great grandchildren, Jameson and Lexa, along with other family members and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and many other family members.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held at Selma American Baptist Church, date and time pending.</p><p><br></p><p>To sign the online guest book, go to www.mahnfuneralhome.com. </p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
