<p>In Loving Memory of Eileen Sheridan</p><p>Eileen Sheridan’s zest for life remained undiminished even in her final moments. Born in New York City in 1945, Eileen’s journey peacefully concluded on September 14, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. At the age of 78, she gracefully passed away with her family by her side.</p><p><br></p><p>For over three decades, Eileen dedicated herself to the noble profession of nursing, a vocation she pursued with unwavering dedication. Even in her later years, amidst her own personal health issues, she continued to extend her helping hand and compassion to others. Her selflessness and boundless empathy endeared her to all fortunate enough to cross her path.</p><p><br></p><p>Eileen found profound joy in life’s simplest pleasures. A quiet evening with dear friends, savoring a cup of coffee with a chocolate Entenmann’s donut, and taking her dog for a walk were all a source of immense contentment. Eileen’s life was enriched by her passion for reading, the solace she found in meditation, her unexpected talent for bowling, and her profound love for golden/lab retrievers. These passions illuminated her existence and brought warmth to her heart. Her pleasant personality and beautiful smile left and indelible mark on everyone she met.</p><p><br></p><p>Eileen is joining the Lord and her late husband Gerald Sheridan in Heaven. She will be laid to rest at a future time with her husband at the Beaufort National Cemetery in South Carolina. Eileen is survived by her son, Brian; daughter-in-law, Melanie; and three grandchildren, Lydia, Isaiah, and Kaitlyn.</p><p><br></p><p>In celebrating Eileen Sheridan’s life, we are reminded to embrace the simple joys, offer a helping hand to those in need, and carry forward her legacy of kindness and love. She has left an indomitable mark on our hearts and will be forever missed but not forgotten.</p><p><br></p>
