<p>Belinda ‘ Linda’ Marie Farrell </p><p>Glace Bay</p><p><br></p><p>It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Linda Farrell on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Glace Bay Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. </p><p><br></p><p> Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Lillian ‘Toots’ (Snow) Devison. </p><p><br></p><p>Linda was employed for many years at CBU in the housekeeping department. She enjoyed traveling, going for drives with Stewart to the casino. She was an excellent baker and was famous for her carrot cake. Linda loved Christmas and everything about it –the family gatherings, the giving of gifts, the lights and the music. She was an avid animal lover. </p><p><br></p><p>Linda is survived by her loving partner, Stewart Morris; her children, Sandra (Daniel), Patrick, John, Mary Lynn (Keith), Stewart (Terri Lynn); grandchildren, Tristan and his mother, Lana, Jessie, Josh, Joey, Logan and Lucas; six great grandchildren. Linda is also survived by her brother Ernie (Sharon); sisters-in-law, Diane (Ritchie), Marguerite and Gen; special niece Wanda, nieces and nephews as well as family friends, Karen and Clary.</p><p><br></p><p>Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Frankie (Kay), Wayne, Danny and Benjamin; grandson, James; father of her children, Pat; chosen friend, Paul. </p><p><br></p><p>Special thanks to the nurses and staff of 3rd South West, especially Rhonda MacDonald; 4 North and Kelly; the staff of Seaview Manor for all your loving care and compassion given to Linda. Thank you to Dr. Gallivan for all you have done over the years. </p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wallace Road, with Fr.Norman MacPhee officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral arrangements are entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199).</p>
