Sharon Cormier

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Ontario Finnish Resthome Mauno Kaihla Koti on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the age of 80. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Ronald. Loving mother and friend of Steven (Holly), Nancy Taylor (Michael) and Tracy Murphy (Michael). Proud Nana of Emily, Samantha, Kaela, Liam, Elijah and Rhea. She will be missed by the Potter and Cormier families. She will be sadly missed by her special sister Nola Napper.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. A private family inurnment will take place. Memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (OFRA) would be greatly appreciated by the family. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff at the Ontario Finnish Resthome. Their care and empathy over her last days will not be forgotten. We would also like to thank Zoey Lavallee and Tracy Disisto for their special time and care of our mom.
