Robert James Versch

Robert (Bob) Versch, 74, passed away peacefully Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. He was born on Feb 10, 1946 in Wellsville, NY, and resided in Windham, OH with his beloved wife of 30 years, Sharon A. Versch. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He cherished, loved and spoiled his wife and doted on his doggies, Gizmo & Skylar. He enjoyed cooking, old westerns and swimming. He was a faithful Tribe and Browns fan. Bob retired from Metaldyne in Twinsburg after 30 loyal years of employment. He is survived by his wife Sharon A. Versch, his children; Dawn Karlovec of Canfield, Brian (Karen) Karlovec of Ravenna, Robert (Kristi) Karlovec of Windham, Steven (Mary) Karlovec of Chardon, Tracy Karlovec of Windham, Maria (Bob) Wright of Alabama, Ronnie (Tabitha) Versch of South Carolina, Joseph (Jen) Versch of Michigan, fourteen grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and a host of extended friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Loretta (Cole) and Joseph Jacob Versch, brothers, Joseph, David, twin, Roger Versch, sister, Loretta "Sookie" Deming, and his grandson, Matthew Godfrey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stonewall Veterinary Hospital in memory of Bob.
