Joyce Ann Steigerwald

Leavittsburg - Joyce Ann Steigerwald, 88, Eagle Creek Road, Leavittsburg, died on Saturday, July 10, 2021 peacefully at her home. She was born September 9, 1932 in Warren, Ohio. She was the daughter of Robert Thomas Edwards and Vera Mae Evans Edwards. She married Richard Steigerwald on November 21, 1951. They were happily married for fifty-five years. A 1950 graduate of Leavittsburg High School, she was employed as an office manager at numerous businesses. She retired from Contempo Vans/Satellite Truck Body. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending times with her family and dog. Surviving are her sister, Nancy Acorn of Lapalma, California; two sons, Richard Lee (Rhonda) Steigerwald of Blacklick, and Edward "Ted" (Gerri) Steigerwald of Champion; three daughters, Lee Ann (James) Berlyoung of Elyria, Lisa (Dave) Steigerwald-Kana of Leavittsburg and Vicki Steigerwald and her companion, Ronald Bailey of Warren; her grandchildren, James Berlyoung Jr., Joseph Berlyoung, Rebecca Freeman, Christopher Steigerwald, Alex Steigerwald, Claire Steigerwald and Alyse Steigerwald; and her greatgrandchildren, Clara and Benjamin Freeman and Elliott and Silas Berlyoung. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her two brothers, Allan Dale Edwards and William Edwards, and her beloved dog, Gigi. No services will be held and cremation has taken place.
