James Lloyd Shank Sr.

James Lloyd Shank, Sr., 83, passed on June 25, 2018 in the emergency room of St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. He was born on June 15, 1935 in Leavittsburg, Ohio, the son of Lloyd and Hazel Veon Shank. James was a member of the meat cutter union and was a manager of the Sparkle Markets located in Cortland, Champion and Kinsman from where he retired. His favorite hobbies were camping, snowmobiles, motorcycles, tinkering, caring for his Rat Terrier, Tiny, and mowing everyone's yard. James is survived by his loving wife, Rose B. Brakovich Shank, whom he married on November 12, 1955; his sons, James Lloyd Shank, Jr. (Debbie) and Mitchel Gordan Shank (Cathy); his granddaughter, Samantha Jo Shank (Gene Zander) and his sister, Peggy Timco. Preceding James were his parents, Lloyd and Hazel; his daughters, Penny, Lori and Michelle; his brother, Randy and his sister, Barbara.
