<p>Grassi</p><p>Theresa J. (Cavaliere)</p><p><br></p><p>Age 87, of Penn Hills, on Monday, September 18, 2023. Beloved wife and hunny bunny of almost 65 years to William J. Grassi; Mother of William "Bill" (Judy) Grassi, Judith "Judy" Cappella (Bruce Marsh), and Theresa "Terri" (Jim" Jimbo) Gelpi; Grandmother of Cara Mia Grassi (Chris) DiRubbo, Vito (Christina "Ina") Grassi, Rachel (Kelvin) Lovelace, Rocco (Kelly) Cappella, Natalie Gelpi (Bryan Boyer), and Vincent "Vinnie" Gelpi (Jessica Flowers); Great Grandmother of Stella, Giancarlo, Kelin, Raekwon, Jevhoni, Antonio, and Chase; Sister of Amelia "Millie" (the late Pete) Jeffries, and the late Ermalinda Colosomo, Anthony Cavaliere, Catherine Bonacci-Mansfield, and Louis "Gino" Cavaliere; Sister in law of Mary Cavaliere; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Theresa was involved in St. Gerard Majella Church, where she served on the Christian Mothers and as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a faithful and devout woman, living her life with love for and trust in the Lord. She prayed with conviction to her patron saint, Jude. With her loving devotion, Theresa prayed for all she knew. She was a living example of God's blessings and her love served as a blessing to many. Friends received, Wednesday, 7-9pm & Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, in St. Bernadette Church of Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to the dedicated staff of Allegheny Dept. of Aging, and the incredible care provided by the Bridges Hospice A Team.
