<p>Craig Zelinko, age 34 of Breckenridge, Colorado, formerly of Lakefield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Osterberg Funeral Home in Lakefield.</p><p>Craig Allen Zelinko, son of Shawna Zelinko and Jeff Zelinko, was born on Tuesday, September 6, 1988, in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Craig attended and graduated from Jackson County Central High School. Upon graduation, he attended Minnesota West and received his degree in auto mechanics. After graduating, Craig worked for Hage Oil. He then moved to Windom, where he worked at Windom Towing, and Buresch Farms (which he loved very much). He met the love of his life Leah Breeman. Together they lived in Estherville, Iowa for a short time, before moving out to Colorado to plant their roots. They settled in Breckinridge, Colorado, to build their lives together. Craig worked various jobs in Colorado. On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, Craig passed away unexpectedly in Colorado at the age of 34 years, 11 months, and 29 days.</p><p>Craig was a very outgoing gentleman. He loved spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, and especially in the mountains. Craig was elated spending time with Leah and June on the trails or traveling. When he was not out enjoying nature, you could find him working on cars, building legos, and listening to his favorite music. Craig enjoyed gaming, skateboarding, and tinkering with things to see how they worked. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Craig will truly be missed by his family, friends, and by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.</p><p>Left to cherish the memories of Craig are his fiancé Leah Breeman and her son Noah; his dogs June and Kyle; father Jeff (Delores Kolander) Zelinko; mother Shawna (Tim Brown) Zelinko; siblings Corey Zelinko, Sarah Kay “Kodi” Zelinko, and Zack (Desiree) Zelinko; nephews Corey Jr., Robert, and Nash; grandparents Linda and Roy Sr. Hemmert; aunts and uncles: Amy, Travis, Roy Jr., Randy, Roger, Cheryl, Val, Kathy, Rilyn, Dan, Lisa, and Wes; along with numerous cousins, extended relatives, and great friends.</p><p>Craig is preceded in death by his grandmother Marilyn Zelinko, great-grandmother Arlene Muse “GG”, uncles Mike Rossow and Greg Zelinko.</p><p>Blessed be the memory of Craig Allen Zelinko.</p>Obituary
