Stella Smith age 84, of Altus, Oklahoma died March 10, 1965 in Memorial Hospital, Altus.<br />She was born January 21, 1881 in Texas to William Doriss. She married Clyde Smith August 25, 1902. He preceded her in death January 31, 1961. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Opal Hanson, December 20, 1956, one son Elmer Smith, March 22, 1961. She had been a resident of Altus since 1917.<br /><br />Funeral services for Stella Smith are scheduled for Friday, January 23, at 2:00pm in the Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. C.L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral.<br /><br />Stella Smith is survived by two sons Horace Smith, Casa Grande, Arizona; Cecil Smith.
