Priscilla Rogers

Priscilla Rogers, 79, of Edgewood, KY, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer Disease, on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Elmcroft of Florence Nursing Home.  She was born January 23, 1938 in Stout, OH, daughter of the late Roy and Bernice Kratzer Evans.  She was married to Ray Rogers, who survives, for 61 years. Priscilla enjoyed traveling and fishing.  She loved being a wife and mother and loved her dog, Suzie.In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Diana (Gary) Moore and Melissa (Jeffrey) Tully; grandchildren, Eric (Janey) Moore, Aaron (Alicia) Moore, Anthony (Kayla) Tully, Nick (Rachel) Tully and Brad (Hannah) Tully; great-grandchildren, Alex Moore, Olivia, Lylah, Nora and John Henry Tully; sisters, Marianna Baker of San Antonio, TX, Estelle Mae Gifford of Blue Creek, OH; special friends, Crystal (Dave) Gillam and Pat Troxell.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Rae and her 2 brothers, Robert and Carol Lee Evans.Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (SR 125), Amelia.  Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Union Township.The family would like to send special thanks to the Elmcroft of Florence Heartland Village Care Givers and the Bluegrass Care Navigators for their care, love and support.
