Casey Christopher Wanat, 33, of Cleveland, TN, born on November 5, 1989, in Valdosta, GA, passed away from a heart attack on August 5, 2023. Casey was a beloved family man, known for his warm sense of humor and selfless nature.

Casey was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and a presence in his community. His friendly demeanor was manifest in his years of diligent work as a football referee and baseball umpire.

He will be fondly remembered for his kindness and humor by his surviving loved ones. This includes his cherished grandparents, John and Rose Wanat; his loving parents, Dale and Freda Wanat; his dear sister, Anna Hubbard, and her husband, Eric; his cherished nieces, Caroline and Junie; and his caring aunts Lena and Frankie Parton. An avid sports fan and a beacon of laughter, Casey's spirit will forever echo in their hearts.

Casey’s family will receive friends from 3pm until 5pm on Saturday August 12th at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
